Question
Answer:-
The similarities between personality tests and integrity tests is that they determine an individuals suitability for a given position. They are both conducted by the recruiter on a candidate. The differences between the two is that personality tests focuses on the inner attributes and characteristics of the individual such as their behaviors, exercise of authority, relationship with others and team work skills among others. Integrity tests examines a candidate's conduct in previous roles including his accountability, adherence to set rules and regulations and judicious use of resources among others. Personality tests are warranted for new hires that have no previous record of employment or hires that should fit certain key inner attributes for a given role. Integrity tests are warranted when recruiting for a position that involves a person of high ethical and moral conduct and such is the case for public service when one must not have been engaged in corruption and other integrity issues.
