Initially, we need to have an office in all the locations and a communication plan based on the time difference. There should be a primary point of contact at every location for internal communication. There should be a clear line for the division of work between the teams. The employees should be encouraged to help each other and work towards achieving the common goal. The product management and marketing team might have to make some changes according to the likes of the local audience so the team should always communicate with the office based out of the head office in Gulf region.

b - The people are different everywhere but what matters the most os how the company treats its employees. If the employees at the US office have a very good top management that cares about its employees and provides all the good facilities then people would come together and work as a team. After all the success of a business depends on the employees. So concentrate more on bringing the employees together and always encourage the right talent. If the company put people from the Middle East in the USA then the cultural differences play a very important role. There might some issues with the language and it might affect the basic communication. The company should make sure that they hire people who are compatible with this kind of work environment and should be willing to go the extra mile to create a good work environment.

c - The virtual teams will have a clear communication plan as they have to coordinate according to the time difference. The teams will have status calls every day to discuss the progress and also to discuss the requirements of a specific region. This coordination is important to run the business smoothly. The virtual teams don't get the opportunity to meet personally and discuss business so the company should provide the video calling facility for clear and effective communication. Understanding what the other person is feeling int he team is very important to know before making any vital business decision. The main aim should be to reduce the distance between them using the technology available today and create a sense of togetherness.

d - The first step would be to understand the reason behind the problem that they are facing. The approach used to solve the problem would vary depending on the nature of the issue. If the problem is the cultural difference then the HR manager will have to talk to them and also make sure that it never happens again at the workplace by taking required measures in the form of new rules and regulations and also through organizing some activities to create an awareness. If the problem is related to the work then the manager should be responsible for resolving the issue through an investigation. The manager should talk to both the employees and try to understand who is right and who is wrong. The person who is wrong should be explained why the things are better when they are done in a different way. Making a person understand the importance of something is very important to avoid the future misunderstandings.The person who is right shoud be adviced not to get into an arguement and contact the manager in case of any misunderstandings.
