In this project you are to describe the steps necessary to perform this process by using VMware Converter to virtualize your physical desktop system.

Download and install the VMware Converter software.
Record the steps you use to create a virtual machine from your physical desktop.

Download and install the VMware Converter software.
==> Download VMware Vcenter coverter standalone from VMware downlaod center
==> Use the downlaod manager/Manaula downlaod options to install the software with default settings.
==> Select local installation for setup type.
==> Click finish to complete the installation.
Steps you use to create a virtual machine from your physical desktop.
==> Start vCenter converter and select File -> New -> Covert machine
==> Select Powered on machine in Source type
==> Select This local machine from specify the powered on machine type then click -> Next
==> Select VMware workstation or other VMware virtual machine
==> Select the VMware product where you want to run the virtual machine
==> Visrtual machine details
=> Name - Change the name of virtual machine as per your need.
=> Browse and navigate to the external hard drive or network share where you want to save the virtual machine files.
=> Click -> Next
==> You can choos the partiton if you want to change or exclude any partition.
==> Click -> Next
==> Click -> Finish to start the conversion.
==> Once converion is completed then re connect your external hard drive to start the virtual machine.
