I being the Training manager would belong to the Training department.
1.Training problem statement or objective:
-In order to train the rest of employees in the organisation, the trainer's themselves has to be technically updated all the time.
- " Train the trainers session" requirements.
2.Skills and knowledge required to perform the work would be as below:
- Communication skills
- Soft skills knowledge
- Updated and New products knowledge
- Training budget knowledge
3. Successful performance of the work in training department can be measured through:
- Increase number of trainings within the allocated budget
- Increased productivity
- Increase in revenue
- Increased efficiency level of employees
- Through feedback sessions
4.Are people performing at the levels required:
- This year's overall performance of XYZ company being high, hence employees are performing at the levels required
- Individuals goal achievements led to business goals achievements.
5.Is there under-performance for specific groups of employees:
- Yes a bit of underperformance with the new joinees in the organisation.
- This can be solved through having an induction plan with 30, 60 and 90 days performance plans in place
6. Training that will help bridge the gap between the standards of performance needed and the actual performance:
- First step is to find out the training needs
- Then Company's goals to be explained clearly through a training
- Training on what is expected out of employees
- Training on the performance levels and metrics used to measure the same
- On the job training etc.
