Question

1.What is the goal of implementation planning? Can a software development project achieve success without such a plan? Why or why not?

2.At numerous points within the software implementation process group, the software supporting processes are used in combination. Explain the importance of using these support processes with the activities of the software implementation process group.

3.What is meant by the following statement: “The software implementation process is a conforming instance of the system implementation process, specialized to the particular needs of implementing a software product or service”?

4.What is the difference between functional and qualitative (nonfunctional) requirements? Provide an example of each.

5.This chapter referred to several industry standards that can be used throughout the software development process. How do these standards contribute to the overall scope of software process management?

6.Is it valid to state that software can be developed easily with the exclusion of software architecture design activities? Why or why not?

7.What is meant by the following statement: “Detailed design of the interfaces shall permit coding without the need for further information”?

8.The requirement for software review is listed as an activity in each lower-level process of the software implementation process group, except for the software construction process.

A.   Explain the importance of software review as a required activity of each process.

B.    Why do you think software review was excluded from software construction? Do you think that it should have been included? Why or why not?

9.Explain the difference between software integration testing and software qualification testing.

10.The ISO 12207 standard suggests that stakeholders may be involved in qualification testing. Do you agree with allowing stakeholders to have access to the software before it is delivered? What are the advantages and disadvantages to this approach?

Explanation / Answer

1. Goal of implementation planning is to make a right statergy for software making .pre required things etc are been noted in planning phase. This is done so as to ensure proper and perfect making of a software.no without plan software development project cant get success because without statergy and planing we cant get idea about upcoming difficulties and failures .

2.supporting processes are important as they play very important role at some particular moment of time when one part of main process get failed .they are just like backups . For example testing of software does not get complete due to any failure of main program .then support process kept for testing helps alot .

3.

this statement means when a system is designed then implementing it with some specialised features .means a system which will be able to do some specialized things or tasks / processes or when it will be ready to give that particular special service that thing will be confirmend fully after that system development cycle will reach at software implementing process

type other ques separately . hope you like these ans
