Some of the top sources of conflicts that I've encountered and experienced in BPO Project Management services are as follows:

Project Manager Management Style, Project Team History, Scope Changes, Schedule Changes, Project Failure (or Cancellation), Declined Change Requests, Disagreements With Vendors, Disputes over Project Management Methodology, Disagreement over communication methods etc.,

These are the factors that end up with an attention that corporate governance quite often sees from shareholders, business press writers, academic that include and result from failure of many corporate and controls several decisions made by top-level managers during last few years. It is significant to note that the better governance system in place, higher the chances of competitive advantage an organization has and also the economy in which they operate.
