Explanation / Answer
Identify a situation that you are currently in at school, at work, or in some other formal organization that has cross-functional element to it.
The place i work has a cross funtional element in it. There are people from different nationalities, backgrounds, religions, ethinicity, who work together with goals that aligns with the organizational goals, vision and mission. When the entire workforce in an organization come together for the success of the organization it creates a bond among the people.
Similarly, while i was working on a project, i had to work with the people of different departments. A small team of two members from accounts department, a person from the strategic management, a person from the supply chain and logistics team, a team consisting of 4 members from IT, and software development, two guys from the operations teams and two people from ERP were involved in the project. All these people are from different departments, who were allocated to work together on a single project. These people are the best from their respective teams and when they came together to form a team to handle a million dollar project, that was a huge success.
