Oswald possessed and used stolen personal identifying information (PlI) of numerous individuals, and used the information to file fraudulent tax returns and collect tax refunds. More than 100 fraudulent federal tax returns were filed and unlawful refunds totaling $139,308 were directed into bank accounts in the name of Oswald's company. 2- The computer raised many problems for law enforcement agency like tracking a person who has committed crime, putting that culprit behind the bar , how to prevent cyber crime etc.
