In this homework, you will demonstrate that you have MARS running on your computer and get practice with load, store and add instructions.

Program description:

Write a program to add the last 4 digits of your phone number and store it in a memory location named “sum”. Store each digit in its own memory location, called “digit1” … “digit4”.

What to turn in:

1. The program code, make sure you include comments as described in class.

2. A screen shot of your program code (the Edit window). Make sure you have comments on most lines.

3. A screen shot of the registers and memory after you have single-stepped through the program (the Execute window). You can make separate screen shots of the registers and memory in order to zoom in so that they are readable
