As a stakeholder in Amazon, I was pleased to find yet another article discussing the company. The article discusses the top 250 companies, as far as their management grades, Amazon is ranked number one, despite a low "social responsibility" grade. The authors state that: "The lackluster grade comes after years of critical news reports about the working conditions of its warehouse workers and poor marks from activists for not being more transparent about its environmental record. Yet, its mighty innovation score—so high that it lies off the charts compared with other companies’ scores—catapulted it to first place."

Amazon has since established a high-profile "corporate responsibility team" to deal with these issues.

Amazon has always been in light for malpractices. It was said that Amazon has modified its reports. They have been very successful in hiding information about the poor working conditions inside the warehouses as well as different places regarding Amazon. Deciding of statistics and poor working conditions directly reflected the overall score of Amazon and this Disco held Amazon to stay on top of the list of the most responsible companies.
After looking into this issue Amazon has successfully build corporate Responsibility team in which manages companies corporate responsibility in the society. Company is innovating in different regions such as logistics and inventory management but the previous state of faking the statistics has directly decrease the overall credibility of the company.
With the help of proper supervision as well as maintenance of the cultural ethics in this organisation and increasing the level of transparency into the work structure has been one of the main motives after the report of lack luster. As the company was blamed for not being transparent, they have implemented high performance corporate responsibility team to maintain this specific issues and to provide transparent working structure to the society and to create a more effective corporate social responsibility report.
