Dynamic Object Orientated Requirements System (DOORS) :The name itself is saying that the DOORS is written using object oriented Database. In this system, each and every requirement is considered as an object. For example, consider a excel sheet or html as a requirement, each and every paragraph in it is considered as a requirement and it is assigned a UID automatically when the document or html is exported to DOORS database.DOORS Database is made up of DOORS Database server and DOORS client side server.User can connect to the DOORS database using client application which he installs on his personal computer running either windows 7 or vista or xp.
main advantages of DOORS:
1.Uniquely identifies each and every requirement.
2.maintaina history of each and every requirement.
3.By using an hyperlink(an arrow) ,we can navigate between dependent requirements.
4.Objects can map to other objects in the database using one-one,one-many or many-many mappings.
5.we can apply filters on attributes that are used in requirement objects.
6.Allow the user to access web with our daily using web browsers.
Matrix sheet tools:This is nothing but a maintaing requirements traceability matrix to manage software requirements. To begin this,we need to know what are the requirements that needs to be tested or traced. It is used to track the requirements and to check the current project requirements are met.Requirement Traceability Matrix captures all requirements proposed by the client or development team and their traceability in a single document delivered at the conclusion of the life-cycle.
Requirement Traceability Matrix Parameters include:
Types of traceability matrices:
1.fill the registration form online or by taking form in bank.
2.bank manager checks for eligibility and identity proofs,KYC checks.
3.if everything is ok,he proceeds to open an account for the customer.
