1. Windows and 2. Apple Macintosh
difference between two:
1. Windows was released in 1985 and Mac released in 1984.
2. Mac is more stable than windows because most of the program are separated from each other and from operating system also. whereas in windows the stability is poor because are components of operating system are connected to each other.
3. In windows attack of viruses and security is easy as compared to Mac.
4. Moving program folder/file to any hard drive of Mac does not crash the software while in windows if you do so you might end up having completely reinstall the software.
5. Macs offers range of application for photos, music and video editing, whereas in windows the applications for multimedia are incomparable.
6. Mac are more expensive than windows.
7. Mac only available in nine basic model while windows are available in numerous number of models.
8. Mac can run windows operating system, while windows is not able to run mac operating system.
9. you can not connect xbox to mac. while variety of games are available for windows.
10. you can not connect mac directly to TV without help of adapter. Windows 7 directly connect to TV.
11. windows is more popular in school and in offices.
12. market share mac=5.1% windows=92.21%

now a days smartphones have all features that we can do in our laptop and desktop. if my requirement is to basic computing i would go for smartphone (basic computing like internet reading email and other small jobs) (reason, portable, light weight, low cost). but if i have to do heavy load work like designing, programming then i would buy laptop which is more portable than desktop(reason : screen size, operating system, power).

3. digital signature, LibreOffice=partial and ms office2013=yes
4. there is function of live preview while formatting in ms office 2013 but not in LibreOffice
5. you can insert audio/video from online sources in ms office but not in LibreOffice
6. you can import video and audio format in LibreOffice but not in ms office.
7. drawing program is there in LibreOffice but not in ms office
8. you can export to xps format in ms office but not in LibreOffice

the reason to utilize the LibreOffice 5.0
1. first reason is that it is the only fully up to date open source office suit available online.
2. second reason is that it is free and flexible. it is available in feature set in windows Mac and Linux. It uses vary familiar toolbar and icon that is used in ms office.
3. third reason is that it has app for word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, vector draw program ,database and math formula editor.
