Answer 1) The 2 methods used to mitigate theeffects of the low color resolution are :
Color Indexing : In this, a color pallette is used or chosen to optimize a low resolution image. The decision of choosing different color palletts varies with image. One way is identifying the most dominant color used in the image, than the color pallete is chosen of the same colour to enhance the resolution of the image.
Dithering : This process basically includes the combining of different colours to produce new ones which are not present in the original image. It can be appied in regular patterns or diffused to random patterns. For example : yellow and ble can be combined to produce a new color green.
