Mathematics is used at every layer of Computing:

1.The lowest layer with ALU performing the Arithematic and logical operations mathematics is used.

2. The middle layer with Operating system making use of mathematics and algorithms for process management, memory management, disk management, networking operations and more.

3. The upper layer with all sort of application and system software using all sort of algorithms to create all sort of magic.

Computer’s would not compute nor would it communicate without mathematics. Computers does not understand the human languages it understand the language of 0 and 1 only. Which means that all the letters in alphabet or any numbrs are first converted to binary form so that the interaction can be their with the computers.

Mtahematics help to create the better understanding of logics.

We usually develop algorithms based on optimizations formulas that gets better running time and use less computing resources.

Matrix determinant is used in a lot of things, like the first search algorithms of Google named PageRank
