Bullying at workplace is related acts or verbal comments that are intended to mentally hurt or isolate individuals at workplace. It can also mean negative physical contact sometimes. It involved repeated incidents of hurt and behavior intended to humiliate and degrade a person.

Sexual harassment at workplace is related to behavior related to action or verbal nature intending towards sexual nature of some kind. It is related to offensive offers of sexual undertone or inappropriate behavior even in return of job offer.

Sexual harassment and bullying is an inappropriate and negative behavior that hampers the performance of the employees at the workplace. It does not motivate them positively and makes them feel isolated and affects their work. If the health and mental well being of an individual is in danger then it is not only terrible for the individual but also for the company as they are associated with it.

Nansel et al. (2001) pointed out in their research that sexual harassment and bullying amongst individuals affects negatively by showing signs of insecurity, anxiety and depression. These can turn into early signs of possible severe depression if it continues.

Law school admission counsel that manages LSAT witnessed a case of bullying against a fellow employee. The company handled the situation well by acting against it and firing the manager involved with it.

Another company is Uber which had registered several cases of sexual harassment. However the company did not own up to the inherent issue of sexual harassment. After repeatedlg voicing opinion against it; they removed the employees who were involved with sexual harassment.

It is vital to work positively against the bullying and sexual harassment issue at workplace. The major ways to control it would be to set up strick rules and regulations. This will not let any person go against it knowing that there will be strict action taken against them. There can be training for the employees at workplace to understand the do's and don'ts
