Virtualization is a process of creating a unreal/virtual operating system, a storage device or network resources, or a server.
Virtual operating systems: Multiple virtual operating systems are created on a single real hardware.
Network virtualization: Network virtualization is the method of dividing the bandwidth of a single network device into multiple bandwidth channels.
Storage virtualization: It is a technique of combining multiple storage devices into a single big storage device and then managing the big device centrally.
Cloud computing definition:
Cloud computing allows organizations to utilise computing devices hosted over internet. For example Virtual machines, storage devices etc. Organizations do not have to maintain the computing devices, they just have pay for it just like electricity!
Cloud computing is divided into 3 parts
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): Providing virtual machines for computing.
Platform as a Service (PaaS): Provide development tools (platforms) for developing various things (like developing Ios Apps, Android Apps)
Software as a Service (SaaS): Providing softwares applications which users can access through internet. For example Google sheets/ Google docs
