Ethics are principles or standards of human conduct that are usually justified and determine via logical analysis. Cyberethics is a code of behavior on the Internet. Based on common sense and good judgment, Cyberethics also includes obeying laws that apply to online behavior. Conduct research on the Internet about Cyberethics. Discuss TWO of the main principle associated with Cyberethics. In addition, find examples of two different Cyberethics corporate policies (make sure and cite your source(s) and discuss your findings. Lastly, if you owned a business, what policies would you create to ensure ethical cyber behavior from your employees?

Explanation / Answer

Cyberethics include 2 important principles or rather rules which insists people from potential malware or the problem which may occur because of the internet usage. Cyberethics regulates the person or the system from using contents which is usually not allowed under the company policeis.

The main 2 goal of cyberethics are as follows :

1)Regulation on Adult/ Pornographic contents: The major hurdle of any cyber groups is to make sure the internet which is used inside the organization or campus is free from adult content which may cause many problems such as low company growth rate or malwarious sites would be able to accessed by th eemployee.

To ensure this is done properly all the organization has a seperate Gateway which will allow only sites which is allowed under the system. If it found pornographic in later stage of system also banned so that the system would be free from these contents.

2) Regulation on malware sites : As the internet has grown, the same way potential threat to any system is grown to the highest level. There are thousands of sites which attacks the whole system just on the opening of that site. Eg of such latest would be Ransomeware.

To make sure the system is free from any potential attack of malware the company or the organization has to updated with the Anti-virus system always and the compnaies will ensure all the data which is shared or taken from the internet passes through the seperate Firewall which ensures only allowed data is passed inside the company network.

If you owned a business, what policies would you create to ensure ethical cyber behavior from your employees?

To ensure the safety of data and privacy of data to the business it is essential to ensure the anti-virus is up to date all the time of the day throughtout year.All the adulthood sites would be blocked. and there will be training sessions to ensure the employees follow these rule strictly.
