Question
I need help finding 4 variables. I have gotten this far. I might be wrong on these equations that I derived but I do not think so.
Thank you in advance!
I2=I1+I3+I4
-33I1-47I2=-6
47I2+80I3=10
-80I3-33I4=-10
-33I1-33I4=-6
Construct the circuit of Figure 34.6. which also has two power supplies but has four resistors. Choose values of 1 = 5 V, 2 = 10 v, r1 = 1000 omega, R2 = 800 omega R3 = 600 omega, and R4 = 500 omega or values as close to those as possible. Following similar procedures to those described above, measure the values of the resistors and record those values in Data Table 2. Following similar procedures to those described above, measure each of the four currents and the emf of the power supplies and record those values in Data Table 2.Explanation / Answer
Add 1 and 2 (equations)
and do 4 - 3
you get the same result that means you have effectively 3 equations to solve and 4 variables so these cant be solved......
you need one more relation between i1 , i2 , i3 , i4
