e1 = ?
e2 = (7/2)^2 *e1
e1 + e2 = 5 mm
e1 ( 1 + 3.5^2)= 5 mm -------> e1 = 0.377 mm, and e2 = 4.625 mm.
Now after extention, mid point at (2*L + 5mm)/2 = L + 2.5 mm
