Just need the answers; I can figure out the explanations on my own
As shown in the figure, a proton with charge +e is travelling in the positively y direction. A uniform electric field is applied in the positive x direction. The total force on the positron can be made zero by applying a magnetic field: into the page in the positive x direction out of the page in the negative x direction in the positive y direction A uniform steady magnetic field is directed into the page. A small positive charged particle, moving in the plane of the page, follows on anticlockwise spiral of increasing radius. A reasonable explanation for this behavior is that: the charge is positive and is losing positive charge the charge is negative and is losing negative charge this cannot be determined without knowing the speed of the particle the charge is positive and is acquiring more positive charge the charge is negative and is gaining negative charge
