A systems analyst is a post in IT where the professional person analyzes, designs and implements the IT systems for the systems to achieve their intended functions and the end users’ requirements. Solving the business problems using the Information technology. They identify whether or not any improvements and what are needed for the system, designing the system to implement the changes and also training and motivating other people to use the system effectively. Whereas a Business Analyst is a professional who analyzes the functionality of the business process of the business domain and the documentation is performed on the business or process. Thus business analyst is not typically an IT person but a purely functional knowledge person. Programmer analyst on the other hand is a programmer who physically implements the changes and the modification and the way of working which are identified by the Systems analyst.

A Systems Analyst should have experience in computer programming for many years as a programmer, education should be at least Bachelor degree in Computers, Certification will be added advantage in Computer Science, Technical skills will be fixing performance issues and implementing changes to current programs and also creating new program and also all the task of the planning and implementation of IT in the company. Soft skills are a very much needed requirement as Systems Analyst should be having great communication skills and management capabilities. Some of the requirements and duties of the Systems Analyst are:
