Consider industries/jobs/careers in the United States about 150 years ago that are still in existence. Describe one of them that has been highly affected by the advancements in IT and how IT has changed its basic nature. Additionally, describe an industry/job/career from that era affected very little by IT. What are the primary reasons there is such a disparity between your two examples and their adoptions of IT? Why do you think that latter example has been so reluctant to adopt IT? What opportunities can you envision the latter example might be missing out on by not adopting what IT has to offer? Jobs affected by advancements of IT

150 years ago we have people employed for the purpose of informing the government’s or kings order to the people for every village.

He will collect all the information from the kings paradise or government office that has to be informed to the people.

Then he will travel along all the village of the particular region of the country with some musical instrument in hand playing it to get the concentration of all the people.

Once he came to the village all the people will come to a common place and will listen to his information.

This was exist long year ago, but once the invention of internet etc.

The people will come to know about government orders through the mail and websites so this employment was almost withdrawn now.

There is no need of this type of employment anymore.

The thing that is not affected by IT:

Mostly it cannot affect the blue colour job people.

For example I can say agricultural workers, construction employees, piece rate workers in manufacturing units etc.

These people are so reluctant to adopt IT as they are less educated and don’t ready to adopt new technologies.

They are skilled manually but they are hesitating to use advanced technologies.
