Create a model to motivate employees:
I would like to have all the points discussed above to motivate employees. First I would bench mark salaries with industry bench mark. This helps in reducing salary indifferences among employees. I would build incentive program based on feedback from management to motivate employees. I would also ensure all employees get safe and clean working environment to work. Incentives motivate employees to achieve more and more above their comfort zone. Generally employee would restrict his ability to the demand and hence would not try to achieve more than the target. this would be bad for organization. Incentive program are built specifically to address these problems.
Recognition and rewarding creates healthy competition among employees to earn rewards. Hence employees try to increase their performance.
