Max owns a small consulting business, MaxConsulting. The CyberStuffcompany plans to acquire a new Web-site hosting system. It has hired Max to evaluate bids from several software developers and to recommend a bid for acceptance by CyberStuff. Max's wife works for NetWorksx, one of the bidding software developers, and has written the bid that Networksx has submitted. Max read his wife's bid before it was submitted and thinks it is excellent, but is not sure whether he should tell CyberStuff about his connection with one of the bidding companies.

Q1) Analyse the dilemma using the ACS Code of Professional Conduct;

ANS - The ACS code of conducts are as followed:-

If Max select his wife’s company from the bidding as per his company requirement. He should follow code of conduct by working for his company through best solution and company members should not feel by his decision if any bid is better than his wife’s bidding. He should be honest and professional towards his company by informing about his connection to one of the bid providers when it needed.

Q2) Recommend to Max an ethical response on the basis of your analysis

ANS - Max should go through all the bidding without any bias and after that if he thinks his wife’s company is suitable for his company requirement. If he thinks there is a better bidding than his wife then he need to follow the code of conduct to serve his company and reject the bid.

Q3) Compare the recommendation made this week with the recommendation based on an integrated approach

ANS - Integrated approach makes a way to decision process based on personal preference but ACS code of conduct makes a way to make a decision which is fair to do and it should befavor to public interest which means it is always makes profit to the company.
