I am working in the Human Relation Department of mid-sized manufacturing company. The management has decided they needs to hire additional quality control inspectors so they give offline and online ads. Management has asked me to work as a recruiter. The screening of candidates and selecting candidate for the interview are done by others in the department. My work is to conduct first interview. The quality control inspectors have to work overtime and during weekends. This information is given.
Now, the steps which I would take to prepare myself for interview as a recruiter are as follows:
I know that the candidates are supposed to do overtime and word during weekends so I would intimate this to candidate in prior so that they may not have any confusions. But I would not directly intimate them. I would tell them that whenever the work loads are more they must be required by the company to work on weekends or do overtime. But they would get benefits from this extra time works in terms of experience as well as monetary.
