EU Health Policy Platform is an example of a health policy platform and promotes discussions about health concerns of public and aims at sharing general knowledge about health concerns. It gives the scope of open forum and exchange with others.

The purpose is to Set up a framework for discussion of health related queries, create knowledge of public geahea issues and spread information about food safety, encourage good health policy and also provide guidance of other health related policies for individuals.

This is how it caters to the overall target audience which for this particular platform is the UK residents.

So one priority issue for example is taking the pledge to identify and eradicate any epidemic that applies to mass such as bird flu , which has to be taken care in public interest. Thus the promotion of prevention and cure helps one as an individual or on a whole in Mass population but Is etfeceffe in addressing the problems and mitigation.
