I support the pluralist approach when it comes to health policy market. This is due to the fact that pluralist perspective allows us to understand as well as argue that different interest groups provide us with a complete perspective when we consider the needs of the market and any policies that are created for this purpose and at the same time allow us to counterbalance each policy with the other in the marketplace.

There is a link between the perspective of the people and those of the government and therefore allows us to take into account these differences and work towards generalizing both into the situation and the measures that are taken in the approach when making the policies.

The best factor is that no one group or policy body has the complete control over the functioning and therefore, it can cater to the needs of the most amount of individuals rather than catering to a select few, which represents a fair practice.

In health policy making, the pluralist approach is the right way to follow because the perspectives from different interest groups will ensure that before deciding any health care policy, all the probable effects on people can be analysed fully. Pluralist approach helps to understand the perspective of multiple interest groups so that policy created will be a balanced one incorporating solutions for most of the issues of interest groups. For example, policy on abortion will have discussion from Religious conservative group along with national organization of women or Planned Parenthood so as to understand both the perspectives of the issue and laying out a health care policy which will fulfil the demands of maximum people.

Pluralistic approach helps to build a link between demands of all interest group people and the government policies so that the differences are identified and a generalized situation can be created so as to meet the demands of majority interest groups. Each and each policy along with the measures taken for the implementation can be analysed as per the requirement of a diverse group of people having varied requirements. This will help to develop a health policy which would be appropriate for a large number of people due to it ability of accommodating issues of almost all interest groups.
