Explanation / Answer

United Airlines has been in light for setting up forceful transfer of disable people from high posts two similar available accomodation posts or any other lower grade posts. Equal Employment opportunity commission filed case against company for violating americans with disability act as this is specific type of competitive transfer quality did not align with the standard of operational environment of different businesses in United States of America.
In this specific case United Airlines decided to demote their employee to lower post as for their transfer policy which was not enforceable from the standards of Americans with disability act. Company was making forcefully transfers from people with disability to lower posts are terminating their employment inside the organisation in the name of reduced efficiency.
According to Americans with disability act if any disability limits the ability of an individual to do the respective job then they should be re accommodated in organisation rather than demoting them to a lower position.
Later United Airlines have to pay more than 1 million dollars to equal employment opportunity Commission to settle the specific case.

Americans with disability act and the discrimination law was violated in this is specific case which was later settled for 1 million dollars buy jetblue Airways.

If I was a line manager then I would have definitely provided a positive compensation to the Employees rather than focusing on shifting them to lower standards. Shifting the employees of the organisations with disability at a higher position with adequate job profile would have been the most beneficial approach for the airline. This would have definitely increased the overall level of ethics for the company and provided positive approach to the overall availability of options as well as maintenance of better ethical standards as a line manager. As following this specific type of approach for building better relationship with the employees would have been beneficial for the company rather than getting sued by equal employment opportunity Commission.
