As the manager for the distribution of this product, determine the best shipment amount from each warehouse to each retailer in order to minimize the transportation cost under each of the following priority policies.
1. Policy 1=All retailers are regarded equal and each must be supplied a minimum of 30 boxes of the product
2. Policy 2= Each reatiler of the supplies should be used to satisfy Retailer 5's demand
3. Policy 3= Each retailer must be supplied a minimum of 30 boxes. After that, give top priority to Retailer 1's demand. When retailer 1's demand is met, give priority to Retailer 2's demand, and so forth
4. Policy 4= There is no minimum supply requirement, no priority, minimzing transportation cost is the only objectiive
For each policy, develop an optimal transportation plan with the shipment amount from each warehouse to each retailer specifed in a table and indicate your total transportation cost under this policy
Prepare you answers in a powerpoint file (you may copy the format of table 1)
