Christianity assumes that our human nature is fundamentally and thoroughly flawed by sin, to the point where a divine miracle of grace is needed to allow us to trust Christ as Savior. Most people in Western cultures, however, do not consider themselves to be sinners and therefore feel no need for a Savior. Comment on this in the light of the detailed accounting rules and regulations intended to prevent investors from being defrauded, and the multi-billion dollar worldwide auditing profession that is intended to add credibility to financial statements.

here the issue is people and their unlimited greed in the limited life. there are good strategies and rules which are designed to run a business entity and to protect the investors to the business. to formalized and uniform methodology in accounting, IFRS (international financial reporting standards) were introduced.
all these regulations and polocies works to protect the investor interests and obligations. the issues like insider trading, executive comensation, window dressing and offering or accepting bribery to officials comes under this category.
untill unless the people practice them and implement them no regulations will give positive results. for this only every organization is establishing an audit committee leaded by an independent director. this committee will works to check whether the accounting process is in a fair way or not.
