The conflict management style which can be adopted to yield best results is the collaborating style of conflict management wherein conflicting parties may put up their point of view, discuss their differences and then work on resolving the differences through selection of best points of the proposals put forward by both the parties. Thus a collaborative solution is derived which is built on the best points of both sides and is a win-win situation for all.

A)
Assimilation strategy is best adopted in situations where the acquired organization’s employees willingly adopt the culture of the acquiring organization. This is successful when the company which is making the acquisition is typically having a rich organizational culture and the acquired firm has a dysfunctional form of culture which does not exudes any appeal.
B)
Every organization’s culture is unique and is the basic fabric which provides the organization with a personality. The organization culture includes values, behavior of employees and also the overall importance given to employees and the organization’s sensibilities to human needs. For example, if the firm values all employees to be essentially good, then it will value human interaction and celebrate events such as small team achievements, anniversary of employees etc. with equal fervor. They will also look to empower employees by giving them power and valuing their capabilities. Such an environment will boost morale and productivity of employees.
