Answer:- Compensation can be seen as all forms of payment which are made to the employees which are resulted from the work or job done by them and it is mainly offered in terms of money while the benefits can be those added services or offerings from the company which are done to create some kind of values to the employees such as low-interest rate loans, life insurance, cab and meal facilities. Benefits can be both monetary and non-monetary. In terms of benefits, there can be some chances that the employee has to pay a certain sum out of his pocket to enjoy them.
Answer:- One of the ethical aspects of the given scenario is that the boss wants to manipulate the benefits which are being offered to the employees so that they look more attractive to the employees. This is not an ethical move as the management is expected to convey the real information without having any ambiguity so that the employees can have a better understanding of what they are actually receiving. This clear communication becomes more significant as the employees have to pay some expenses as out-of-their-pocket and they must be knowing what exactly they are receiving from the payment made by them towards these benefits offered by the company.
