SUMMARY OF THE ARTICLE :

The competition in health care industry is stable among new entrants, existing reputed service units who are striving to achieve the same service objectives. Salary packages, organizational culture are the main issues to study about this industry.

This industry seeks not only organizational values but also employee values to wards their work. The article smmarizes that all sections of staff has same kind of responsibility.

ANALYSIS :

Health care industry is service oriented industry and that too such services are not ordinary services. Those are for saving life of people. No matter whether it is start up or branded health care unit. Important thing is the best , committed, dedicated value added services. When it comes to work force their prefernce would be salary package for what thy work. Where as health care industry needs service oriented staff even though they paid well. Because patient welfare is the main task of every employee in the organization irrespect of the level, department in the organization. This only reflects the organizational culture, values which increases the organizational effectiveness. ("The effect of a customer centric approach towards doctors in a private hospital" by M.Vander Westhuizen,2014 ) stated the clear vision statement to provide quality, affordable health services to the people and striving for becoming a unique brand of patient care .

Thus how best a health care organization serves its patient is important than anything else. That kind of value added service only protects the survival and sustainability of an organization.

OPINION :

Values only determine the brand of health care service industry. Values only replicate the culture of health care organization. Talent is defined by service orientatiion of employee, his commitment to wards his role.
