Explanation / Answer
a. Few of the predominant factors for business to move jobs are:
1. Availability of efficient resources
2. Cheap labor
3. Taxation and economic considerations.
4. Availability of market for the product.
5. Competition for the product in the market.
b. When it comes to doing business it is never immoral to use cheap labor. Now the term cheap labor has different connotation. In terms of moralilty, cheap labor should be defined as one which is available in a different country and these labors have a wage which is in accordance with the industry standards. For e.g: In the US a simple labor may have wage of $30000 wile that in Bangladesh it would be $1500 a year. But as per Bangladesh wage standard, $1500 is a normal salary, hence it is moral for a US business to set up a business unit in Bangladesh to reduce production cost. But it would be immoral if an employee from Bangladesh is paid lesser salary in the US. Cheap labor is also a part of expansion and business strategy and is not immoral, because this helps employee save on the cost.
