The client wants help with selecting a project management methodology in order to increase the maturity level of project management practices in his organization. For confidentiality reasons your manager cannot tell you anything else about the client or his business but still expects you to propose some solutions to the client in a meeting that is scheduled for three days from now. • How will you help the client understand the similarities and differences between methodologies?
Explanation / Answer
As we do not know much about who the client is, we can only give general information. We can provide the client with all types of methodologies available and need to explain each and everyone of them. We need to give their advantages and disadvantages. We need to explain where each methodology can be applied. It will be the client's choice to choose the methodology suitable for them as we do not know anything about them. But we can give them suggestions on how to improve the existing system.
