(1) The employees look towards their leader for motivation. They are called leaders as they lead by example and hence should WALK THE TALK. They lead by example. Hence the leader should be aware of the environment in the organization and if needed he should be willing to go the extra mile to create a conducive environment for fostering communication and growth of the organization.
Leadership and leaders is all about motivating the employees to get the desired results. The do not practically do the job, but are responsible to creative a suitable environment so that the employees can carry out their tasks with ease and precision. By adopting this approach, the employees are able to achieve their goals and objectives, collective effort of which will result in the organization achieving its goals for the current year and for the future.
(2) Achievement of goals gives immense satisfaction to every one. In the case of employees if a realistic goal is set, the employee works diligently towards achieving it. On achieving it, the employee not only derives satisfaction, it also will fetch him some monetary reward in the form of performance linked bonus which is linked to the achievement of goals. Adopting this approach leaders and managers can get what they need from their employees.
(3) Employee centric approach by the management and organizations more effective. The real assets of the any organizations is the human assets of the organization. A motivated workforce can do wonders to an organization. If the needs of the employees are met and a culture of mutual trust and growth is set in the organization, it will drive the organization to greater heights. A participative leader ship style will be suitable for setting a good culture. Setting a good culture is of paramount importance as it sets the organisation in the right direction. Also a product of the company can be copied, their services can be copied, but what cannot be copied is its culture. If the HR department of the organisation develop a unique culture of personal and professional growth, it can leads to voluntary support by the employees in achievement of the organisation's goals.
