It is my personal experience at work when there was a conflict upon the planning and implementation of the project with one of my team members. My company was producing high fat and high protein malted food for the military who were operating at the remote location and needed such foods. My company got the project and it was the responsibility given to my team to execute the project. I was committed to run the production, but my team members were unable to show the interest due to the unusual bill of material of the product that could cause high amounts of scrap to be reworked if not done properly. Here, in the team meeting also attended by the senior manager, a brainstorming session was conducted. I put my ideas regarding the tweaking with some chemical to improve the quality of production, though my one team member was not convinced and went with the other ideas. The team was also divided upon these two ideas. To resolve the issue, my senior manager decided to make the trial run. Two trial runs were conducted and the production with my approach with reduction in the amount few chemical, came out with the best results. It helped the team to come up and agree to that proposal and make the production as demanded by the military people. It was one of the most successful project completed by the company.
