Go to the HR-Guide Web site at https://hr-guide.com/ Scroll down to the “Training and Development” heading. Click on “Needs Analysis” and read the information. After reading the information, place the cursor over the “Employee Surveys” heading at the top of the page and click on “Training Needs Assessment” in the drop-down menu. You may find the information on this page interesting. On the sidebar under the category “Training Needs Survey Demos”, click on “Demo 1” to see the first needs assessment survey example. Answer the following questions about Demo 1. Identify the element(s) of needs assessment used in the questionnaire (e.g., organizational analysis, person analysis, task analysis, or a combination). If a combination is used, state which elements are included. Comment on the questionnaire in general regarding its setup and effectiveness in determining training needs. Click on the sidebar link for Demos 2-5 and provide responses to items a (i) and a(ii) above for each Demo. NOTE: You must do the reviews of all five demo surveys.

Training Needs Assessment Demo 2
This demo illustrates the work/task analysis. The skill levels required to perform a task are determined in this type of needs analysis.
The survey demo helps to get detailed skill sets preferred by the workers. However, the training methods are not identified in this survey. The employees prefer different types of training methods as per their requirement. Multiple choice question can be provided for determining the training method.
Training Needs Survey Demo 3
This demo is a combination survey. Organizational analysis and work/task analysis is considered in this survey wherein the opinions of the employees are sought to achieve the organizational goal which is the best employer and their skill set are sought for improving their performance on the job.
The survey looks good. However certain questions does not have comments box to explain why they have chosen ‘yes’. For example question no. 5.

This demo is a task analysis and training suitability test.
The survey is well drafted and provides in-depth details like leadership skills, business operation, customers, etc. The setting also looks good and there is no further suggestion required.

This demo is a classic example of work/task analysis.
The survey is an excellent example of the needs analysis for the skill set required for training. Most of the questions are close-ended and helps the firm to arrive at a definite answer. The questionnaire is effective and helps to achieve the purpose of the survey.
