Explanation / Answer

CFA use mutual fund data from the CRSP database for 1962–2006, and only no-load, equity funds are included in the study. The fund characteristics the authors use for analysis are (1) three-year alpha, (2) ability, (3) expense ratio, (4) size (measured as a fund’s total assets), (5) age, (6) turnover ratio, and (7) volatility (measured as the standard deviation of monthly returns over a 12-month window). All the funds are then divided into two groups of about 4,000 diverse but comparable funds.

2. As I have very less knowledge on tax concepts so I believe that I might face difficulty in this section. In order to overcome this obstacle I need to understand the topic tax and wealth management. 3. As I run my own business now so I have to very well informed about all the aspects of the business and financial matters. With the help of CFA competencies at least I will be able to maintain all records of financial transactions appropriately. Now a days doing business is not only about buying and selling goods now government has made number of rules and regulations on the business dealings. So if I have good knowledge of the concepts of the CFA at least I will manage to make my own income tax returns and statements and bank records.
