Khalid has just graduated from MENA College of Management with a degree in business. Khalid is planning to start a business to develop a new type of corn chip and packaging. By using special technology both in the product itself and in the packaging, Khalid has developed corn chips that will stay fresh in the original packaging for several years after they are produced. Khalid’s planned factory site is located on some land adjacent to a major water source.
Khalid plans to produce the packaging and process the corn chips in the same factory. Khalid knows that the special plastics for the packaging will result in the production of hazardous waste, and that the production process will produce toxic air pollutants. In addition, there will be some wastewater from the plant. The production process results in the water being heated to a high temperature. Lastly, because of the storage of the food on the premises prior to production, Khalid will need to use chemicals to control rats, bugs, and other pests.

ANSWER 1:- khalid is trying to start a business of making corn chips in a such away that doesnot exist in the current market he is trying to make corn chips that can stay fresh in original packaging for long period of time without perishing.it is difficult for khalid to sustain in the market bacause for developing new technology of packaging it requires high capital investment which will lead to high cost of production,which will lead to high price of the product ,& high price product could only sustain if quality of the product is high as per the price.
ANSWER 2:- Due to special plastic which is required by khalid for packaging purpose will lead air pollution while producing which is hazadous for the people living in that particular area.in addition to this while producing such plastic,the plant will carry toxic water will he hae to release into lakes or rivers or need to refine it ,because of releasing it into lakes or rivers it wil create water pollution in the enviroment.that can harm the people as well as the aquatic animals.
