I am the CIO of Facebook, and I want to buy data from Google as soon as possible. However, we don’t know the origins of the data and how the data was collected from Google. We should need to understand the source of the data and ensure that the data does not falls in any non-ethical category like data stealing, data inappropriate sale, misuse of data etc. We want to have formal process for data collection, data purchase and payment for data to Google. We want to run it as a formal process of sale and purchase, so that we abide by legality and do not make any issues for the organization.
1: Ethical dilemma faced: Ethical dilemma that we need to be sure that the data purchased should be ethical and should be of non-ethical contents. The data are needed for facebook as soon as possible, as the facebook needs it urgently. Facebook wants to use the ethical data sets only. Thus one side facebook needs ethical data and other side the Google’s data looks to be non-ethical.

· Legal issues due to data purchase: The one of the major key issue will be that there may be legal issue which can be raised on the data purchase from Google. Thus we need to take appropriate action to ensure that we will be free from legal issues by making proper formal process to avoid legal issues.
· Brand image impact due to data purchase: The brand image may get impacted that face book has purchase the data from Google, thus it will create negative impact on the company. Facebook need to ensure that the data purchase follows the formal process so that they avoid any potential issue which may impact the brand image in the market.
