Explanation / Answer
Treating employees as Assets of the organisation is one of the best approaches for improving the overall availability creating a more intuitive and effective working environment. Each and every organisation should focus on creating a strategy which would focus on creating better working environment for the employees and treating them as investors in the overall systematic approach for the organisation.
If the organisation is heavily dependent on the employees such as a human resource or a recruitment agency, treating the employee in a better way by accepting them as investors of the organisation and providing correct benefits as well as compensation for the employees as well as training would be the most effective way of improving the overall availability of an employee for the organisation by treating him as an investor.
Treating employees as assets for the organisation is usually required in skill based operational structures such as IT firms. It forms are heavily dependent on the scale of an employee as the software developer is responsible for creating more effective tools as well as understanding the situation of the specific problem .
I was working at an FM station where I was treated as an asset of the specific radio station. Due to my good skills in providing information about the audio tracks as well as having an understanding of the recording equipments I was treated as an asset for the organisation and more and more responsibility were given to me. This type of approach definitely provided me a better way to understand the organisational structure while getting the better benefits and compensation.
