Question

cenario 1: What's your theory?

Various theories of management have evolved over the years, most of which we can recognize are applied in our workplaces today (Kinicki & Williams, 2016). While it's not likely appropriate to say that one theory is best, applying the right theory or combination of theories to certain situations might offer better results. By studying various theories, we can expand our perspectives and develop different approaches to handling dramatically different and dynamically changing problems (Duncan, 2013).

Discussion: For this scenario, consider the management theory or theories that best describe(s) management practices at your organization (or an organization with which you are familiar).

Describe the management theory that seems to best explain the management practices at your organization.

What other theoretical perspective do you think your organization should consider and why?

How can developing an understanding of competing management theories help you to better manage in a complex and dynamic environment?

Explanation / Answer

I worked at an FM station and FM station follows the traditional Management Theory which is widely implemented into the organisational structure of the specific FM brand. This type of approach definitely reduces the overall impact of other approaches as traditional approach for managing has been very widely focused on creating more and more revenue by posting up for the manager of the organisation to improve the workability as well as service provision by the organisation towards the society.

Some basic shortcomings of traditional management theories are as follows
Traditional management theories are basically built for the simpler organisations rather than being built for the dynamic and the more Complex organisations of today.
Traditional Management theories directly focuses on the individual performances rather than focusing on the group effort by dividing them into efficient as well as inefficient categories in the organisation or in the team work.
Traditional management theories doesn't allow to innovate but to specialise in one specific job and repetition of the same job again and again which reduces the overall productivity as well as the efficiency of the management system.
Traditional management strategies all the focus is on getting most profit out of the business rather than focusing on development of human resources
Creativity is not possible or there is a very responsibility of the creativity in the traditional management system because the strategy is Defined by the managers and involvement of the employees are negligible.

In the modern world traditional theories are being neglected because of being less and directed towards the human development as well as the English innovative. By implementing the traditional management theories we are bound to reduce the overall creativity of our Organisation hence these are some of the biggest shortcomings of the traditional management theories

Traditional theory of Management helps us to understand the specific Organisation in a simple way which can be easily handled as well as carried out by implementing easy strategies. All of these approaches in sure that no complex integration structure of the constitution and the things go accordingly.
