1. The manager is Mr. J. Phillip Bright. He is the Director and is responsible for the day to day administration and efficient operation of the university.
The employees at the university consists of faculty, non teaching staff and internal staff. Faculty consists of professors and assistant professors. Staff helps in the administrative part of the university.
The management process is made more efficient by having different departments looking after different functions. The faculty is concerned with the academics and the staff and internal staff looks after operations and administration.
2. The chancellor is selected by a search committee. The members of the search commitee are the Board of Trustees and Student Government Association.
The law as formulated by Department of Education affects the chancellor's job.
3. The corporate strategy of the university is to have a close collaboration among the students, faculty and staff to meet its functional strategy of providing quality undergraduate education. The University's strategy is to cater to all and lifelong educational needs of students by providing graduate programs, distance-learning opportunities and other creative endeavors.
4. A chancellor is the leader of a university. They are the executive head of the university. A chancellor is a system wide chief. The main responsibilities are: (a) conferring degrees at awards ceremonies (b) to preside at meetings of the board (c) to act as an ambassador for the university (d) to attend all formal and informal meetings as a representative of the university.
