this will be a 1-2 page paper that should rely solely on your personal experiences as you are not required to do any research for this project. This should be a review of what you perceive as the major risk factors that you face in your life, and can also touch upon any ways that you have mitigated these risks. These can be career related, family related or health related. Topics that have been touched upon the past deal with traditional insurance type risks of auto accidents, fires, but also have ranged to risk of layoffs, risk of having sufficient income in retirement, as well as overall happiness in life. This is a wide open topic that is meant to convey to me your thoughts about "risk". any expert pls!!

Explanation / Answer

The risk of layoff is present in most jobs, some people think that just because they have a job right now they will keep it forever, wrong.

There are thousands of people coming out of college with new knowledge and are willing to do your job for less money, there are also countries known to outsource the processes or services of first world companies, for example India, Philippines, Central America countries, etc.

So, what can an employee do to avoid the risk of layoff? That is a question I asked myself many times.

The answer in my opinion is becoming someone irreplaceable for the company.

You can become irreplaceable by exceling at your job, always giving the extra mile, adding value to what you do, always be on time to work and to meetings.

Understand the difference of a work relationship and a friendship, you are not there to tell everyone your problems or to go drinking every other day, I am not saying do not built work relationships because they are also important but there should be a line from the personal life to work.

Create the habit of education, so you went to college and got your degree that is great but you need to be update with the new information and techniques that the world is using, keep educating yourself, you can get a master’s degree or join free courses, the important thing is to keep moving if not someone else will and you will be left behind without a job.

Create good relationship with customers and vendors, you never know when they offer you a better job than the one you have or if you are layoff you can go a work for them and because
