He has revolutionized the transportation industry through the latest technologies in his cars and rocket. Besides, he was also founding member of some successful companies that were later acquired by top businesses including Paypal. Elon is recognized in the transportation industry and solar energy services. In addition to it, he was also a part of neurotechnology industry.

2) Visionary leadership theory best describes the characteristic traits of Elon Musk. Elon has shown an incredible vision towards identifying the long-term future, hidden market trends as well as unmet need of potential customers. He promotes creativity and innovation in the work culture of his companies and is never afraid of taking risks. He always leads his team by example. Elon keeps pushing his team members to bring the best out of them and help them reach their full potential. Elon is known for finding and employing best talent from the industry.

3) Elon has successfully brought about a revolution in the automobile industry as well as the aerospace industry. He was also the cofounder of Paypal which was later acquired by eBay.     

4) In his first two companies i.e. Zip2 and X.com (which later became Paypal) Elon was not considered to be capable of leading the organization due to his aggressive behavior and risk-taking nature. However, Elon has proved that he can lead the highly successful companies and help them in reaching new heights. Now, Elon is known for his exceptional visionary leadership skills.

5) When it comes to handling or resolving the challenge, Elon always uses his knowledge and skills. Before trying to handle or resolve any issue, Elon does proper research regarding the same to understand the basic reasons and acts accordingly. He does not believe in temporary solutions to a problem. Instead of accepting the available solutions to a problem, Elon focuses on the need of asking powerful questions that would help an individual in identifying the basic elements causing the problem and creating innovative solution for the same.
