The customers are the appraisers when it comes to food items. Because, the item prepares regularly, varies its taste from time to time, hence, the customers only have the chance to rate the item. It is more accurate, transparent and give good results.
if the feedback is collected from customers, the chances for bias is less. if the feedback is collected from known people, etc, then it may consists of bias I think.
