One of my strengths is that I feel I have an empathetic nature. I feel this is a professional strength because you can get more out of your team when they know you care about them. Empathy, encouragement, and overall team building is a trait that is often missed in the manufacturing sector.

It is important because you are relying on people to drive your process, no matter how large or small it is. You have to make a constant investment in your people to make it work. If people feel you do not care about them, they will not be engaged employees, therefore the work performance can suffer.

It is the art of understanding a situation from someone else's point of view. Understanding their needs and feelings to make a decision for them. This trait helps to develop a healthy and friendly atmosphere at the workplace and the activities more productive. Developing a closer relationship with employees makes them feel more important for the company and project and motivate them to perform better.

It is also beneficial for myself as it teaches me to be patient and friendly. Listening to others and understanding them brings a stability in me to analyze the situation from others view. All these help me to mature as a person and bring confidence in my personal self to lead any type of team and get the maximum productivity from them.
