In this assignment, you will analyze a sample scenario and prepare appropriate correspondence for effective communication.

Assessment Description:
Manuel has just been promoted as the supervisor of his department and has only been in this job role for over a week. He has several employees that report to him directly. Recently, several employees have approached him and complained that another employee has extreme body odor. It has been so bad that coworkers are refusing to work with this employee and have threatened to escalate this issue to Manuel's superior if this scenario is not addressed immediately. Carefully analyze this scenario and develop a communication strategy to tactfully address this scenario.

Explanation / Answer

Maintaining peace and unity in a team is very important for team to perform at its best.

If one member of the team start causing trouble to rest of his team members, it becomes importatn to communicate the same to the member in a way that does not effecct the morale of the employee.

My answer for communicating the message to the employee as per the above situation is to arrange a team meeting and keeping the agenda as cleanliness and health awareness. And try to connect it with the team work and how it effects the team performance and collabrative output.

If even after this doesnot work out, the last option is to have one on one with the employee and telling him the main issue that he should correct.
