However, you have heard that Mr. A makes loose comments about women. Mrs X who is working under A, comes to you, she is visibly disturbed. She tells you that Mr. A has been making undue advances towards her and has even asked her to go out for dinner with him. She wants to give a written complaint seeking action against Mr. A. what would you do and why?

I would definitely accept the written complaint under the sexual harassment code.

I will investigate into the whole matter and parallely escalate it to senior management. This type of harassment should not be tolerated at all and there should be no compromise with Mr X, how hardworking may be and at what designation he may be.

Sexual harassment in itself is a form of unlawful sex discrimination and there is several laws for preventing sexual harassment at workplace, which can be incorporated.
